MIND ID Strengthens Social Sovereignty in the Region with State Enterprise Service Volunteers 2026 (Relawan Bakti BUMN 2026) in Samosir
The spirit of independence must be created through the efforts to strengthen the quality of human resources, maintain environmental sustainability, raise public health, as well as build economic independence in the regions. This foundation is the important part in creating an increasingly sovereign, just and prosperous Indonesia.
MIND ID, with that spirit, continues to implement various public empowerment programs, one of which is realized in the State Enterprise Service Volunteers 2026 (Relawan Bakti BUMN 2026) in Samosir Regency, North Sumatera in August 2026.
In the program which involves education, the environment, development of micro and small businesses (UMK), as well as public health, MIND ID endeavours to present benefits which can be felt directly by the people in the regions.
MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Pria Utama, said that Indonesia’s sovereign development requires people with good educational level, productive and healthy, to enable them to develop regional potential, and maintain environmental preservation in their regions independently.
“The current significance of independence is how all elements of the nation create economic self-reliance together. Through the Relawan Bakti BUMN Program, MIND ID wants to take part in strengthening such foundation as part of its efforts to build a more independent Indonesia,” said Pria.
In the education field, MIND ID volunteers held a class called Inspiration and Education on Nutritious Meals and Clean and Healthy Life Behaviour (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat - PHBS) for 200 students of the Simanindo State 1 High School (SMA Negeri 1) and Elementary School (SD Negeri 15) in Ambarita. The activities include interactive games, storytelling, and health education aimed at instilling healthy living habits early on.
As support to the learning and teaching process, MIND ID also handed 200 school equipment packages, sports equipment in the form of volley balls, soccer balls, and volley nets, as well as present educational murals in school surroundings.
In the environmental field, volunteers and local people planted 200 tree seedlings in the Toba Lake Water Catchment Area (Daerah Tangkapan Air Danau Toba) in the Ambarita HKBP Church yard. The activities not only focus on planting trees, but also educating on the importance of maintaining environmental conservation and continuity of Toba Lake water source.
MIND ID also held training on how to process water hyacinth (eceng gondok) to become liquid fertilizer and compost at Tuktuk Sub-district. This program is equipped with a shredder, blender, tarp, and water drums to support circular eonomic based waste processing which can provide added value for the people.
In the economic empowerment sector, as many as 60 UMK players get training and facilities assistance. This program covers training in creative products, processing Red Devil fish, to the development of Batak style carvings which has become an important part of the local cultural identity.
Through various assistance in production tools, promotion, and marketing, it is hoped that this program can assist business players to promote product quality, while at the same time, expand market opportunities.
In the social and health field, MIND ID volunteers held free health checkups for 125 villagers and stunting prevention education for 50 villagers and families at the Ambarita Public Health Center or Puskesmas. The program also provides assistance in medicine and children’s playground to support family education activities.
Support is also given to develop the Batak cultural tour at Huta Sialagan through the cultural promotion facility assistance, as well as volunteer participation at the Red White parade and various games to commemorate Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, together with the people of Simanindo. Pria stressed that the sovereignty of the nation was developed from the empowered community. When children get good education, the environment maintained, local business players keep developing, and the people have access towards better health service, Indonesia’s strong foundation and sovereignty will also be increasingly solid.
“We are committed to continue our contribution to ensure that the benefits of added value from mineral wealth can be felt directly by the people, so that as one nation we can bring Indonesia’s independence towards a sovereign, just and prosperous future,” Pria concluded.
