MIND ID Transports 1,700 Homeward Bound Travellers Safely and Comfortably
JAKARTA - MIND ID or Mining Industry Indonesia, the Holding State-Owned Enterprise for the Mining Industry, together with Group Members, ANTAM, Bukit Asam, INALUM, TIMAH and Vale Indonesia, support the implementation of the 2026 Homeward Bound Travellers (Mudik) Program.
The program is conducted with the collaboration of the MIND ID Group and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources through the Mudik Nyaman (Comfortable Mudik) together with the State-Owned Enterprizes Regulatory Agency, on Tuesday (17/3/2026).
At the 2026 Mudik Bareng Sektor ESDM Program, the MIND ID Group provided 15 buses for a total of 756 passengers departing directly from the Ministry of ESDM Office. The departure of the ESDM sector homebound travellers group was witnessed by MIND ID President Director, Maroef Sjamsoeddin.
Meanwhile, for the Mudik Nyaman Bersama BP BUMN Program, the MIND ID Group provided 13 buses and 4 ships for a total of 944 passengers, departing directly from the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Main Stadium. The departure of the homebound travellers was witnessed by MIND ID Vice President Director, Dany Amrul Ichdan.
In total, the MIND ID Group took 1,700 homebound travellers using 28 buses and 4 ships. This move reflects the commitment of the company to provide homebound travellers with a safe, comfortable, and economical journey.
The presence of top management executives underlines the commitment of MIND ID towards the safety and comfort of participants, from the preparation of the armada, route arrangement, to orderly departure regulations.
In supporting the comfort and safety of travel, as well as prevention of risks, MIND ID has prepared travel needs such as T-shirts, caps, neck pillows, goodie bags, medicine, as well as food.
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, expressed his appreciation to all energy and mineral resources sector companies, including the MIND ID Group, who have proactively supported the Mudik Bareng program this year.
He believes that this Mudik Bareng program constitutes a form of togetherness of the government, public and all stakeholders to create joy during lebaran (Eid) of 2026.
“We pray that all our relations conducting the Mudik Bareng program are always protected during the journey and can celebrate Idul Fitri later,” he said.
On a separate occasion, the Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN) Dony Oskaria said that the free homebound travellers program constitutes efforts on his part to be present and provide direct benefits for the public, specifically in important momentums such as Idul Fitri.
The country, through state enterprises including the MIND ID Group, participates in helping people to enjoy safer and more comfortable homebound travel.
“The BUMN Free Homebound Program is a form of mutual assistance and concern of State Enterprises for the public. We want to ensure that the public can conduct homebound travel safely, comfortably, and securely, while at the same time, reduce the traffic congestion during the Lebaran period,” said Dony.
MIND ID Corporate Secretary, Pria Utama, said that the joint homebound travel has become part of the social responsibility of MIND ID to provide easy access of the people when returning to their home towns while at the same time reduce traffic congestion.
“Homebound travel should feel safe on the road and calm in their hearts. Through the synergy between the Minister of ESDM and BP BUMN, we ensure that the armada is road worthy, departure procedure good, and supporting service ensure travellers arrive at their homes safely and ready to celebrate Lebaran,” he said.
Pria stressed that the Joint Homebound Travel (Mudik Bersama) program is a real example of MIND ID’s presence in providing direct benefits to the public, not only by the management natural resources, but also through various social initiatives which cater to the needs of the public, in line with the Asta Cita (Eight Missions) of the President to raise the welfare and social harmonization of the public.
Pria believes that the homeward bound momentum has a bigger significance than just physical travel, but also space to cultivate family relations and strengthen the value of togetherness.
“Homebound travel or mudik is an important moment for the Indonesian people. That is why we would like to ensure that the travel experience is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable,” he concluded.
