MIND ID Group Channels 5,322 Scholarships to Build The Golden Generation

JAKARTA — MIND ID, and all members of the Group, are consistent in supporting the creation of the Golden Generation of Indonesia through social investment in the field of education in the Company’s operational territory.

Throughout 2025, the MIND ID Group has realized the awarding of 5,322 scholarships, the accompaniment for 13,388 students, training of 408 teachers, vocational and skills training for 1,944 people, as well as improvement of 389 units of educational facilities and infrastructure. Such programs have been part of the company’s strategy in building leading human resources who are ready to support the development of Indonesia’s future civilization.

One of the leading programs implemented by MINDucation: Empowering Coastal Students. This program is part of the efforts of MIND ID, together with PT Timah, in expanding educational opportunities for students in the coastal areas and isolated islands.

Since 2000, PT Timah through the Pemali Boarding School, has provided educational access to prestigious students from underprivileged families in Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands. The dormitory program has seen the graduation of 886 alumni and at this time, providing guidance to 107 active students who are following education at SMAN 1 Pemali High School.

MIND ID and PT Timah have also collaborated with Ruangguru through the MINDucation tutoring program. This collaboration is aimed at raising the competitiveness of students so that they will be ready to continue their studies to universities or enter the professional world.

One of the students of Pemali Boarding School, Andara Vista, admitted that previously, she regarded higher education as something difficult to attain due to economic constraints of her family. However, MINDucation has made her more confident to continue her education and reach for her dreams.

“I now receive additional tutoring through MINDucation, and live in a boarding school which greatly supports my growth. Now, the burden of my parents have become very light, and I feel very confident and ready to reach my ambition of furthering my studies to make my family and village proud,” Andara said.

The program does not only assist to lighten the burden of parents in fulfilling the needs of their children’s education. This program has also become a socially and economically independent catalyst for the people living around the mine’s operational territory.

MIND ID, in synergy with the Education Department, also supports the target of SDGs Indonesia 2030 in completing the 12 year compulsory education. The boarding school and sustainable mentoring facilities are regarded as capable of strengthening opportunities for students from remote areas to break the poverty chain and contribute to the development of their regions.

Since the program began, 72 students from grade 11 and 12 have received additional mentoring to prepare them to enter State Universities (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri – PTN). As a result, 27 students or 75% have graduated to PTN.

More access to educatrion and increasing quality of studies are part of the long-term commitment of the MIND ID Group in supporting the development of Indonesia’s human resources.
